This statement is published in accordance with section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and sets out the steps Smart Choice Accounting Services Limited has taken to ensure that slavery and human trafficking are not taking place in our business or supply chains.

Our business

Smart Choice provides accountancy, tax and advisory services to UK businesses. We engage suppliers for IT, hosting, software, training and office services. Our supply chain is small, UK-based and low-risk.

Our policies

We have a zero-tolerance approach to slavery and human trafficking. Our staff handbook, recruitment processes, supplier-onboarding checks and whistleblowing policy all support this commitment.

Due diligence

We assess new suppliers for human-rights risk before contracting. We require all employees to confirm they have the right to work in the UK and we pay above the National Living Wage.
