our“) is the data controller for the personal information we collect through this website and in the course of providing our services. We’re committed to protecting your privacy and processing your data lawfully and fairly.
1. What we collect
When you contact us through this website, request a quote, or become a client, we may collect: name and contact details (email, phone, address); company name, registration number and tax references; financial information you share with us to deliver our services; communications you send us; and standard website analytics (IP, device, pages visited).
2. How we use it
We use your information to deliver the services you’ve engaged us for, communicate with you about your engagement, comply with our legal and regulatory obligations (including those of ICAEW, ACCA, HMRC, Companies House and the Money Laundering Regulations), and — only with your consent — send you occasional updates about our services.
3. Lawful basis
Our processing is based on: contractual necessity (to deliver our services), legal obligation (regulatory and statutory record-keeping), legitimate interests (running and improving our practice), and consent (marketing communications, which you can withdraw at any time).
4. Sharing
We don’t sell your personal information. We share it only where strictly needed: with HMRC, Companies House and other regulators in the ordinary course of compliance; with our cloud accounting and payroll providers (Xero, QuickBooks, FreeAgent, Sage, BrightPay); with our IT, hosting and email providers under written data-protection agreements; and where legally compelled to do so.
5. Retention
We hold client records for at least seven years after the end of our engagement, in line with HMRC and Money Laundering Regulations requirements. Marketing data is held only for as long as you remain subscribed.
6. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, and port your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these, email
